Shunya (Lord Mahavira)

Artwork relates to “Lord Mahavira”. In Jainism, the Supreme Soul is the condition of the liberated human soul, which in liberation becomes eternal, infinite, blissful, omniscient, and supreme in all the cosmos __To make a tryst with the eternal , the need is to be blank (Shunya) –the state of non-existence of self from inside as Lord Mahavira did.. The mask shown in the artwork depicts his philosophy of “Ahimsa”.

                                     शून्य (रीतापन-भगवान महावीर)

 अनन्त के साथ साक्षात्कार करने के लिए जीवन में व्यर्थ चीजों और विचारों से खाली हो जाना (स्वयं को शून्य कर लेना) जिस के फल स्वरूप ही मानव  सचाई  से परिपूर्ण हो सकेगा क्यूंकि आत्मा अज्ञानता के कारण कर्मों के बंधन में फँसी हुई है– और मोक्ष की तरफ बढ़ने के लिए विचारों की शून्यता अनिवार्य है ।  कलाकृति में दिख रही पट्टी भगवान् महावीर की अहिंसा से संबंधित विचारधारा को दर्शाती है।
